Four women and one death is an Austrian crime series set in rural areas with distinctly satirical elements. It was first broadcast on ORF eins in 2005. In Switzerland, the series airs on SRF 1, and since autumn 2008, it has also been shown on RTL Crime. The series has also been broadcast dubbed in French on Arte. Furthermore, the series has been sold to Slovenia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Denmark, Italy, Australia, Ukraine, and Russia.
