Glockner pilgrimage 2022

The Glockner and God, worth a pilgrimage.

Every year, thousands of pilgrims make the pilgrimage to Peter and Paul June 28th, from the Rauriser Seidlwinkltal in the Salzburger Land via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road to Heiligenblut in Carinthia.

At 3 o'clock we went with that Tanzberg travel  from the Faistenau, towards Rauris. At around 6:30 a.m. the pilgrimage started from the Tauernhaus in the Seidlwinkltal.

The pilgrimage route leads via the Litzlhofalm and the beautiful valley head of the Seidlwinkltal up to the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. At the Hochtor, the Rauris pilgrims meet the pilgrims from Fusch/Ferleiten.

There is always a reason to thank God with this pilgrimage.
