Hike Hintersee - Feichtenstein - Gruberalm

From Hintersee via the Feichtenstein to the Gruberalm and back.

The eventful hike starts at the car park in front of the municipal office in Hintersee. We first follow the Josef-Mohr-Gedenkweg and from the Satzstein the marked forest-water-magic path. This leads to the path to the Feichtensteinalm.

From here it is moderately steep with a few hairpin bends through the forest. Arriving at the Alm, we keep to the left and walk to the summit cross of the Feichtenstein. A fantastic view rewards the ascent. From here we go towards Gruneralmen. The innkeepers spoil their guests with hearty snacks and all sorts of home-made sweet treats. After refreshment, head back towards Lämmerbach and Hintersee to the car park.
